MEET THE SPEAKER
Emma Buchan
Founding Director
EB Interiors
Emma Buchan founded EB Interiors in 2009 after identifying a local market gap in Southern Sydney for high-end design coupled with strong technical expertise. Her enduring vision is to cultivate a flexible, open, and supportive work environment that empowers women.
EB Interiors believes that well-designed environments deeply impact well-being, productivity, and overall quality of life. The studio focuses on design that extends beyond mere aesthetics, resulting in spaces that are not only beautiful but also deeply resonant and supportive of those who inhabit them.
The team brings a variety of perspectives, drawing from a group of passionate women with diverse design styles, inspirations, and experiences. Speaking alongside Emma are designers Hannah Mattheisen and Tamika Ettingshausen, who have both been part of the team for over eight years.
Hannah’s design style focuses on a refined material palette and sleek design that feels both grounded and elegant. Tamika enjoys combining different styles to create layered interiors often inspired by art, fashion, and vintage design.
