Ben Beaumont is the Senior Manager of Customer Success at Vectorworks Australia and a non-practising architect in the state of Victoria. His professional journey began in 1996 working for renowned architect and TV personality Peter Maddison. Beaumont introduced Vectorworks (formally MiniCAD) to Maddison’s office at a time when hand-drawing was still the order of the day. Beaumont’s career further expanded as he contributed to notable Victorian landmarks such as the Southern Cross Station, collaborating with the acclaimed English architectural firm Grimshaw, and later joining John Wardle Architects as an Associate.

In 2011 Beaumont began his own architectural practice, choosing Vectorworks for its power and utility. Over the ensuing years and with his keen interest in Vectorworks, Beaumont developed a close connection with OzCAD, and in 2018 Beaumont formally became part of the Vectorworks team.

With firsthand experience in the architectural field, Beaumont understands intrinsically the struggles and expectations of the working professional. He is laser-focused on developing content and workflows that are practical, useful and efficient. Beaumont especially enjoys working with the landscape design community and is very active in this growing segment of the Vectorworks community.
