Isabelle Gosselin

Project & Operations Manager
Habit Studio

Isabelle Gosselin is a project manager at Habit Studio and a student in the RAIC Syllabus program, working toward architectural licensure. She holds a diploma in Drafting–Architectural from Nova Scotia Community College and brings over a decade of experience in team management and project coordination across fieldwork, student governance, and architectural settings.

At Habit, she manages projects from early design through construction and leads the development of internal systems and Vectorworks workflows. Isabelle’s approach is shaped by her drafting background and a practical understanding of how effective tools, clear structure, and consistent communication support the delivery of thoughtful, well-executed buildings.

SESSION DESCRIPTION

Scaling Thoughtfully: Evolving Our Practice with Vectorworks to Support Passive House Design

This session shares how Habit Studio evolved its firm through a more comprehensive use of Vectorworks by shifting from 2D to 3D workflows, taking on more complex projects, and building efficient systems that support the team’s design goals and commitment to low-energy, high-performance buildings.

Learning Objectives:

• Discover how transitioning to a 3D workflow enabled greater clarity, complexity, and collaboration in Habit Studio’s architectural projects.
• Learn how firm values like sustainability and design excellence shaped the studio’s approach to templates, resource libraries, and file management.
• Explore how small firms can continuously adapt with Vectorworks to meet evolving goals, from scaling up to experimenting with energy performance tools.
